La Rouche and God
I ran into a group called LaRouche Political Action Committee today.I talked with them for a little while about the state of our economy, our country and how to instill an idea in people of creativity beyond what we know right now. Their theory is to go back in time and review the great discoveries, then we could use that now to improve the lives of people on this planet. I agree that it needs improvement. We all hope for a better world.
We all hope for a better world, but this world will always let us down, it will continue to fail us. There is so much good and so much bad. As a Christian I hope for a better world to come. The next world.
They invited me to a meeting to discuss these issues and hear more research and speeches on these ideas. I'm going to go. Maybe I can influence some to hope and pray to God for those things. The idea that we can change the world, its great, really. But more than the things that we could achieve, is the idea that all we truly need is faith, hope, and love, mostly love. We could pray that God can restore our land, make our world fruitful again, help create jobs. And I believe we should pray for these things. The point is, to look to Him. In our trials, look to Him, and also in our blessings. There is more to learn and more to be taught even when you think all is well or you understand everything.
Peace be with you,

Number of Presidential Canidates
Of course there is Obama, the running man of the media
then theres McCain, the follower of Bush
But did you know there are 3 other people on the ballot this year? Probably not. Be informed!
Forget what party they are from and focus on the people they are for a second.
There is Cynthia McKinney, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, and Ralph Nader.
McKinney is a female and she is black! Oh my goodness! someone other than Hillary and Obama??? How could it be??? She is part
of the green party, but she is not a tree hugger.
The rest are all white males. Nothing new here folks:
Baldwin is a Christian but doesn't like Bush! I think he's got some good ideas, but also some twisted ones.
Barr is a Libertarian, but his followers sometimes think he's no better than the other candidates. Wow.
Nader the independent who has run for the past I dont know let's say 8 times? He is the most informed and down to earth nominee but seems to know he will never win.
All I'm saying is be informed. Take your pick. We are the voters and we have a choice.

Abortion
Give me every excuse in the book and I will tell you a rebuttal why abortion is wrong.
But, then again, there is free will and people will choose what they want no matter what the law is. Free will, and I'll say it again, is what God gave us. We have a choice in the matter. In MY heart, though, I could never have an abortion.
When does a fetus start to feel pain?
Some would say 7months old and others would say 3months old. But this is not my argument here.
Doesn't it say that God wanted people to sacrifice their children in the Bible?
If you are reading http://www.religioustolerance.org/abo_bibl.htm please take a look at http://www.tektonics.org/af/abortion01.html before you make a claim that the Bible has many instances of fetal killings and infanticide in the name of sacrifice. My claims though are not about whether or not it is right to kill but on free will and free choice.
If a woman who "should" get an abortion but doesn't, who is there to help her raise the child or adopt the child, who is there to take care of the "crack babies?"
There are plenty of mothers out there who are unable to have children. I know of two people, well more than two people, who were young mothers that were able to benefit from the resources in the community. Both were able to receive welfare, childcare assistance, financial aid for school, and benefit from the numerous low income homes or single mother homes. Each woman and their child are able to receive medical help from the government and medical for themselves, free of charge. They received food stamps and WIC as well.
As for "crack babies" one would might go as far as to make it mandatory to abort a child of a crack addict? Before it gets a chance at life? That is basically what you are saying when you give this addict a choice at letting this child live or die. The person who is addicted to drugs probably should have no say. But many children born into drugs turn out for the better. If they have problems there are many programs available for these children as well. These include mother-child drug treatment programs, employment counseling, child care training, and highly structured educational programs for the children.
Pro-life is anti-woman.
When a woman gets a chance to have an abortion they are getting a chance to erase the consequence of having sex. If a woman ends up having a baby or knows that they can't get out of having a baby, people will think twice before having sex. STD rates will go down. Parents will be forced to actually talk to their kids about discipline in the area of sex.
This idea goes on to women addicted to drugs. They too need to face the consequences of having a child and exposing them to drugs. It may be much harder for them but that is the life they chose. I understand that is not the life the child chose but to not give them a choice at all is a devastating thing in itself. Many many many children who have grown up with life difficulties have been able to use these difficulties and traumas to benefit others and have grown up to be successful and productive people in this society.
The actual women that I have seen that are actually unfit for parenting either don't have an abortion or have an abortion but still have children. The poor can't afford abortions either. People unable to face the consequences of having a child are going to continue their same practices and might actually have several abortions in their life. I have seen this first hand in people around me.
Now all I am doing right now is stating the facts. I am not stating what you should do with them. What should we do? Well at the state it is right now I would say vote against pro-choice when you get a chance. The way they are done it is dangerous for women.
If you know a woman who is pregnant and is unsure what to do about her pregnancy, encourage, don't tell, her to think of other options. Tell her this is a natural consequence of her actions. If she keeps the baby, help her by babysitting, or in other practical ways. Give her some resources. We are so lucky to be in the USA. There are many people around the world who don't have access to these services and these same people do not have access to abortion either.
If you know a woman who has had an abortion, do not judge her but love on her. What's done is done. Free will is what God has given us. Care for her when she is sad about it, but if she is not sad about it, don't dwell on her faults. Only God has the right to judge.
One last argument I would like to make is that children are the light of this world. They give us hope, remember innocence, and they give us something to fight for. Children are a blessing and not a curse. They help us grow. Maybe I'm biased, but if you don't want your kids, give them to me. No I'm kidding, but eventually I do want to adopt children, from this country too. I will go even as far as saying, God adopted us into His family so in turn we should adopt children into ours.

The Green Trend
This topic is about "global warming". It seems that taking care of our planet for the sake of taking care of it doesn't register with people. Fear does, and that is why I believe the fear of global warming started and has continued with great strides. It gives people something to live for.

It's the accessory of the ages. Green is the new pink. Wear it like a handbag. The sky is falling the sky is falling! Oh, my goodness. If only we had the right accessory, then everything will be alright! Propaganda. Eco-friendly. The Global Warming trend. First of all, "green house gas emissions", the number one cause is cows farting not car fumes. Eliminate the cows, go vegetarian!
From the very beginning when I heard of this idea that the earth is warming and it might be the sign of the end of the earth, I like everyone, was fearful. But unlike everyone, I researched it for myself. What I found was there were so many discrepencies and inaccuracies. It's confusing to me why people complain that the government lies to us or hides the truth. It's because its so easy to. We are just like sheep. Sheep with the perfect green handbag.
"Let's see how far we can take this..." You know what? I commend them. We can't get off foreign terrorist oil until we can produce an energy equivalent here in the states. Oil effects everything because it's our main transportation tool. But, because the way our economy works, supply and demand, people don't want new things they don't want to reduce-reuse-recycle.
I have an idea!...Lets SCARE them! Make the people believe it's life or death. They will want to live for a cause! Let's inspire them. Then there will be everything available to them in time of course, and people will want to use less oil. It's genius!
And our economy will boost because people love love love to buy stuff. But they will want to buy from the US and voila! I will make the greatest president ever! (ie Al Gore). And when the politicians finds discrepancies in our theories we will just let them in on our little secret and we will all be in on our little joke (ie McCain).
Also, for the car industry, they couldn't sell the electric cars when they were new and innovative and this is the perfect platform for that. It has totally boost their sales in ways we will only know in the future. People will go "that was so great, it had to be done." Unless of course its taken too far. but what in the past has ever not gone too far? It just takes time to even out. Thats why I'm a Libra. :-)
